Why Happy Feet exists
Happy Feet grew from a family’s experience of navigating diagnosis, treatment, maintenance and fragmented information. The founder story is here to make the journey more humane — not to replace medical evidence.
How we handle health information
Medical explanations draw on professional and health-system sources, linked in the guides. Family experience helps shape the questions and practical support; it is not medical evidence. Checking sources is different from having a clinician approve the guidance. Clinician sign-off for this site's medical guidance has not yet been recorded.
Education alongside your child's care
Happy Feet cannot diagnose your child or confirm treatment or brace fit from a photo. Your treating clinical team decides what is appropriate, including whether tenotomy is needed, the brace plan and follow-up. General explanations cannot account for every child's situation.

Clinical reference material has separate source attribution and is for understanding the journey, not for performing treatment at home.
